Actually, no! But also a little bit yes!

The notification below announces that the new feature will be implemented starting from July 10, 2025. And yes, that’s true!

However, there are many SEO examples showing that this feature had been in effect long before.

One of the closest examples is my brand’s ‘nerecyilmazz’ account. For the content I created at least 4-6 months ago titled “How to become a UGC creator” or “UGC training”, these posts have already been appearing in search results for a while.

By designing my Instagram content in a way that would show up in front of my target audience people who are interested in my product/service!

Turn On the Visibility Setting

To make your Instagram content appear on Google, you just need to activate one very simple setting. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Go to your profile.
  2. Open the settings tab.
  3. Click on “Account Privacy.”
  4. Activate the button at the bottom. That’s it!

Previously, this feature was only available on desktop devices. With the new update, it can now be used on mobile devices too.

Absolutely yes!
